THIS DAY IN ELVIS HISTORY... SUNDAY, OCTOBER 23RD, 1955 - ST. LOUIS, MO.

 

Elvis was scheduled to perform at the Missouri Theater starting at 2pm. 

 

When showtime came, Elvis was nowhere to be found. He got there late and gave the excuse that he lost his wallet. 

 

SHOW CANCELLED.

 

Colonel Parker docked Elvis's pay $125. That's what he paid Elvis per show!
